Avizo Workshop, 30th August 2012

Avizo (http://www.vsg3d.com/avizo/overview) is a tool for processing, analysing and visualising scientific data, and provides particular support for processing 3D data sets in materials science, geosciences, environmental and engineering applications.

MASSIVE has purchased a licence for Avizo which is being used through the MASSIVE Desktop by researchers in a wide range of fields including anatomy, palaeontology, engineering, materials science and science.

This workshop is an occasion for users of Avizo to share their experiences, as well as to introduce this software to other researchers who work with scientific 3D datasets.

The workshop will be held on Thursday 30th August 2012. Registration is required (via the "Register" link at the bottom of this page) and closes COB Tuesday 28th August 2012. All MASSIVE workshops are free to Australian researchers. Morning Tea will be provided. The program has now been finalised as outlined below.
