NCI HPC Training - Melbourne
National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) is running a series of High Performance Computing (HPC) training courses from Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th July 2017 at the Boardroom, Monash University Law Chambers, 555 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The training is designed as a springboard for postgraduate research students and experienced research staff who wish to learn more about Raijin and HPC.
Tuesday 11th July: Linux Essentials
Wednesday 12th July: Introduction to Raijin
Thursday 13th July: Application Performance on Raijin
Friday 14th July: Using Spatial Data Collections at NCI
Requirements: Sessions are run face-to-face with trainers running through worked examples and demonstrations. Attendees MUST bring their own laptop with wifi connectivity. The laptop must have a terminal application such as PuTTY or MobaXterm on Windows or Terminal on Mac.
Registration is free but places are limited. Attendees must register for each individual day they wish to attend. Note: The Tuesday (“Linux Essentials”) and Wednesday (“Introduction to Raijin”) sessions will be repeated, with a morning and afternoon session - please select only one session.
