NCI 2017 HPC Summer School
From Monday 6th to Friday 10th February 2017, NCI will be running a High Performance Computing Summer School covering beginner and advanced methods for accessing and using HPC resources. Hosted on campus at the Australian National University (ANU), the Summer School is designed as a springboard for postgraduate research students and experienced research staff who wish to improve their skills in all facets of High Performance Computing (HPC) and high-performance data utilisation.
The program will cover topics from Raijin and introductory Linux through to parallel programming, GPU programming, Python, deep learning and data access services. Hands-on training will be a key part of all of the sessions.
All current and future NCI users are encouraged to attend, either for individual days or for the entire week. The Summer School will be a great opportunity to meet and work closely with NCI staff. NVIDIA staff will also be on hand to assist with the GPU demonstrations.
Note: Attendees are required to bring their own laptops and arrange their own transport and accommodation in Canberra.
Registration closes on Tuesday 31st January 2017. See http://nci.org.au/event/hpc-summer-school/ for more information and link to register.
